Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas
My husband was driving a gravel hauling 18wheeler and the trap that covers the trailer was damaged when the people that where loading him loaded the trailer while the tarp was closed. Now the guy he was working for says he is holding his check for the next 2 weeks to pay for damages. I did some research on the labor board web site and everything I found on there says his boss can not legally keep the money he owes him for hauling the loads he has done. It says that since its was an accident it is a business expense. Is this correct?
