Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas
I am being let go because of my husband's criminal history. I have worked for my employer for 5 years and have given no reasoning to be let go. They say they cannot trust me. I am not my husband and do not find it appropriate that I be let go simply because I am married to an ex-convicted felon. Is it legal what they are doing? Do I have any grounds to hire a lawyer for discrimination, etc?
