Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas
I was laid off from a job that I started 5 months ago. I was told on the 13th and was paid 15th all they did is pay me for vacation days and none of my salary up to the 13th and now I can not pay my bills for the month. Do I get a serevance package since I was laid off and not fired? Do I have any rights? It is a very small company with about 12 employees.
