Is it lawful for the employer to reduce an employees wages without notifying the employee if it states in the employee handbook that all employees will receive written notification of their pay and schedule prior to the start of the new school year?

If an employer publishes a handbook and sets up rules for itself, it has to abide by its own rules. The question is: What is your remedy when they violate the rules?

The answer may be in the handbook itself, which you should read very carefully.

A lawsuit may be necessary, but most lawyers are very reluctant to get involved in an employee vs. employer lawsuit.
