Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

overtime pay

Manger is upset that I wont work over 40 hours. He will not pay overtime. I already have worked about 30 hours over time and did not get paid for it. now he threaten to fire me because I wont work over 40 hours any more. So what should i do?

You are entitled to overtime pay if you are not in an exempt position. You should consult with an attorney and may want to file a charge with the Department of Labor.
