Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

If I get paid overtime don't my over suppose to be double what I make an hr? My job paids me 7.25hr but overtime don't be double or even my pay it always be a whole lot less then what I make an hr. Could you tell me what to do thanks

For most jobs overtime is 1.5 times your regular rate of pay for each hour of overtime.
