Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas
i was looking for a part time job to help supplement the income of the current job i have. I was advised by my sup to ask the hr dept if i could work for convergys only part time & why i had to so i did & they advised me that i couldnt & to ask my sup (if i got the other job) what the procedure would be to quit(as in a 2 week notice or would i just quit) i asked my sup that & he emailed me hours later stating they accepted my resignation although i didnt resign i informed him of this and no email for a couple of days, i texted him & all of a sudden he's out of town. They also owed me pay for me missing work due to their equipment failure and didnt want to pay me, this is the second time they have done this to me and they have done it to millions of employees. What can i do?

When u go to tex workforce commission to apply for unemployment..make a claim for lost income..as the quickest way to get paid and get benefits..as the employeer wil contest since they say u quit..
