Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

I quit my job a month ago, on good terms, and gave my two weeks. However, although I had disconnected history in my chats, the database operatives were able to get my google chat messages back and my boss read through them. He has been having uncomfortable one on one conversations with people in the company asking them about me. I had said some pretty negative things as I was being treated poorly (i know this is very stupid), is there any chance they will sue me?
