Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

I recently was offered a position and the employer said he had to do a background check. My background check would include felony charges that were dismissed. (I had my record expunged several years ago but the charges keep showing up) Is there anything I can do if the employer holds these charges against me.... I have tried contacting the employer to set up my start date and he has not returned any of my calls.

No..but u should check to see if expungement took place..and find a competent lawyer in that area to confirm what needs to be done, if anything
