Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

What if someone refuses a certified letter

I am considering legal action against my ex-employer. Since I would have to notify him by registered or certified mail what can be done when he refuses it?

I worked for the guy for 19 years and he was sued many many times and he always ignored the registered letters. Is there some law in Texas that would consider his refusal as delivered? His standard office policy is NO ONE is to accept ANY certified or registered letter. If an employee did happen to accept one then they were made to regret it.

Thank you

If you intend to sue him you will probably hire a lawyer. Let the lawyer handle geting him served. Before you file a suit you should see an employment lawyer to make sure you have satisfied all administrative steps.
