Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

I resently tryed to get a job w a trucking co. That would train me then hire me to drive for them ,at the mid point of the prosess they told me i was disqualified from recieving a c.d.l. .... 7 yrs ago i recieved a felony drug charge in the state of ga. BUT,i was not in , on near, or around a motor vihicle of any kind !

Why would i be disqualified from getting my c.d.l.s

Contact Texas Department of Public Safety to determine the requirements and restrictions on getting your CDL. The drug conviction may prevent you from getting it; it does not matter whether your conviction was related to driving in all matters.
