Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas
Retaliation by a company
I was fired for disputing a bill owed to
a partner company to my job. It was
a cable company with a partial
company discount (I pay a certain
amount each month). They didn't
like that I got mad, and claimed that
I was being disrespectful to a co-
worker (even though its a different
division). I made the call from my
personal phone after work. Can I be
fired for this?
