salaried employees
Can an employer make a salaried employee work more than 8 hours a day simply because they are salaried with no previous discussion or contract about extended hours at the time the employee became a salaried employee.

An employer cannot make a worker do anything...except say if you don't goodbye...but you do not have to accept role as "salaried" since you can leave..and if you did not, you should be entitled to overtime...
That is "free enterprise" but without a union, the worker has little clout...
