Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

I have been a salary employee for 9 years. My company change me to hourly. My question is did they have to give a notice in writing. They just call me in to office on a Friday and said starting next week you will be hourly. (with a cut in paid)

unless you have a contract of some sort which usually comes with a union, then no..an employer is at will to do what it wants..
