Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas
Severance package as regards to sexaual harrasment.
Do I have a right to to ask for a severance pay if I voluntarily leave a job that I was sexually harrassed by my owner? I have had no problems with the company or my job but now that this has happened I feel uncomfortable. I feel like because I have to leave my job unplanned and prepared I should get a severance package but I dont want to break any laws by asking.

If you have a sexual harassment case..get a lawyer now...frequently they settle and you will receive much more than a severance package...but you don't break laws by 'asking'...and did the company have a written policy to give severance? is the company big enough to sue?
