Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

If a signing incentive was agreed upon with one legal entity and that legal entity no longer exists, is the agreement still valid?

i.e. the Agreement was with XX Corporate Services, LLC; however, I have never received a paycheck from XX Corporate Services, LLC (my paychecks have always been from XX Retail Services, LLC).

In addition, the Company was bought by another company and that company already had a Corporate entity.
