Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas
I was terminated a couple of months ago. I was given several reasons of this. First was "talking bad about another manager(same position as me) second was not being at a job site(part of my job) when I really was. Third for 'stealing from the company" by adjusting an employees time clock(part of my job) during her lunch time (while the employee was with me) Two months earlier from the date I was terminated. All this started when I was butting heads with a manager who was a friend of my supervisor. Are these valid reasons to terminate me on the spot?

Texas law is "employment at will," which means that you can be fired for any reason or for no reason at all.
Exceptions are: race, religion, national origin, gender, etc.
If you fail to show up one day, and it causes loss and inconvenience to your company, they can't sue you for it. If they fire you one day, for no reason at all, you have no cause of action.
Correct..if you have a contract or were discharged for race, religion, gender AGE, etc..then yu may have a case otherwise no...and such cases are expensive
