Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

I currently work at a bar as a doorman/bar back I have been working there for about 3 months now with no write ups or any negative feed back but I'm worried that I am going to get fired or taken off the schedule for now reason. My brother got me the job because he had been working for him for sometime now and my brother worked at another bar that he owned. The bar my brother worked at was closed so now he's sharing the shifts I had with me but believes that we're going to be taken off the schedule do to the moodyness of our employer. He has been know to fire or take employees of the schedule for no reason. I just don't want to be another victom of him I don't think it's right for someone to be able to do this. I wish I knew my rights to prevent this from happening I need this job. Thank you for you time.

Guillermo

if you have no contract, written or verbal, you have no right to expect not to be terminated at the will of the employer..nor can he expect you to come to work...texas as most states is "at will" employment
