Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas
I work for the Edcouch Elsa ISD, in Dec. 2008 the district filed for exigency in this process the let some of the employess go (reduction in force) and also in this process they have lowered salaries, but only to a selected few (me included). My question is can they do this...nobody has said anything because of fear. But I know some people that got RIF got an attorney and now are waiting or wanting to settle..(WOW) and here were doing double work and with a salary reduction...
