Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

I work at Radio Shack in Jackson Texas...two days ago i was asked by phone by the district Manager to clock out and go home for two days...pending an hr investagation...i was not told if it had anything to do with me...i was told Qoute: " Rod ur store is under a hr investagation clock out and my self or gloria will contact u in two days ...its been three...this morning i called and left message.

i know texas is at will employment and u can be fired without notice...i was not fired only suspended....but was not told why ...should i have been written up or even warned if there was a problem with my employment...before i was sent home pending an investagation.

Sorry, but they can do this sort of thing, and it's legal. They don't have to tell you why you were fired or suspended (or just not called back).

The exceptions are: it's illegal if they fire you for race, religion, gender, or nation origin.

Start looking for another job, right now.
