Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas
I work for a staffing agency and have been on the same assignment for years. Their client is deciding to cut everyones pay from 12-15 an hour to 10 an hour. In texas. Is that legal??

Yes. Your remedy is to quit.
Generally, employment in Texas is a day-to-day contract. You can't be sued for not coming in to work, even if it inconveniences your employer, or causes him to lose money; by the same token, if he fires you this afternoon, you don't have any recourse.
The exceptions are if you are fired over race, religion, national origin, gender, or age. The burden would be on you to prove that race was the reason you were fired (your boss, of course, would say that it was based on your job performance).
