Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

Work

I have worked at a major University in Texas since October, 1999. My immediate supervisor just retired and instead of offering me the position, they divided the job into two positions and hired two people with no experience. For the last 3 years, I have had my originally hired hours cut when they decided to combine two offices and they gave me absolutely no notice; I have been verbally attacked by another co-worker in front of the Director and he did nothing, went to Human Resources and they did nothing; have watched them cheat on a co-worker's hours and when I said something I was ''put in my place'', my holiday hours from 8 hrs to 7.5 with no notice and now this job position that I have been trained for - I am now overlooked and never even given the chance, yet while they have been filling the positions, I have bee doing the job with absolutely no compensation. Today, I hear that they want me to train them. What can I legally do to stop them? No one in the Human Resources Department is listening or cares. I am an overweight person and I am beginning to think that they are refusing to advance me in anyway because of my appearance; I am trained for the position and I can't think of any other reason. I have a clean record.
