Wrongful Termination?

I was dismissed from a job two weeks after I recieved a preformance raise. I am 50 years old. I was a GM for this company. The company was sold and they made me a dept manager of another store. I orked at this store for 6 weeks and in that time I was given a raise and two weeks later was told I was to expensive and I was doing a poor job. Not one time did they write me up for poor job performance. What can I do? They fired me one day before my vacation was supposed to start and gave me no severance pay just a boot out the door. They then hired a 20 year old kid with one year expierence in this area I had 30.

It sounds like obvious age discrimination..who is employer..where are you etc..call or send me private response and I'll send you intake info so I could consider the case..also, report to EEOC in your area NOW..ie Equal Employment Opportunity Commission
