Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Texas
Alleged broken lease agreement
Alleged broken lease agreement is on my credit report and the SOL for suit on the lease has almost run.
After four years, assuming suit was never filed, is the report entry required to be dropped?

Generally, a negative credit item may remain on a credit report for up to seven years, with some exceptions. I don't believe any of the exceptions in the Fair Credit Reporting Act would apply to your situation.
If you disagree with the negative entry, however, you are free to write to each of the credit bureaus reporting the negative item and request it's removal on the basis that you dispute the item.
