Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Texas
Can an angry tenant take apart a fence, water heater and heater if he put the labor into fixing them. The tenant is angry because the landlord has asked the tenant to leave. The landlard has paid for the majority of the items that were reapired but the tenant did pay for some items which the tenant was told if recepts were kept the money would be reimbursed or taken off rent. Can the angry tenant legally do this?

No the tenant cannot take apart those items. The items that the tenant bought became fixtures and thus the landlord's property once those items were attached to the property.
You should consult with an attorney for a more in-depth analysis of the situation.
Good Luck!
