Apartment Lease Renewal
If a married couple rented an apartment together and finished out the term of the lease and at the time the renewal lease contract was signed one of the persons did not sign the lease is the renewal a valid lease contract?

Depends upon the terms of the original lease and the terms of the renewal. It may be that the renewal is enforceable against the person who signed it, and the other person is a month-to-month tenant.
