Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Texas

apartment lease

I have an apartment lease for a year. They did a background check on my. I am fine. My son decided to come live with me. He has had trouble with the law and has a record. Do I have to report that to the apartment leasing office before he can live with me or because it is in my name, it does not matter?

Read your lease. It probably says that you can have overnight guests only for a few days, and then you have to notify the management of their presence.
