Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Texas
My boyfriend and I moved into my mothers house thought about buying it together but never did anything about it yet and now the relationship is over but I can't get him to move out. We have split the bills for the last 1.5 years. What can I do to get him out?
Thanks
Tammy

Whoever owns the house could have him evicted.
I understand that he probably isn't "paying rent", but if he is not a dangerous person, to be ultra safe, I suggest just evicting him.
The best practice is to consult an attorney on this matter. If you don't want to do that you may try a do-it-yourself eviction which will probably be handled by your local justice of the peace.
Good Luck!
