Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Texas

Breach of Contract

I would like to know the tenants rights when a landlord wants to break contract before its closing. Also I had repairs that were stated in the contract that were never taken care of. My roof caved in in a room in my house where i had repeatedly told my landlord that it needed to be fixed before the problem escaladed, but my request were ignored. Finally, Does the landlord have the right to trespass into a tenants home?{my landlord tried to enter my home while i was home thinking i was not there.}Thank you for your help.

Re: Breach of Contract

You have legitimate claims, which are too complex to review in this forum. I recommend that if you do not wish to hire a lawyer, then carefullly review the landlord/tenant section of the Texas Attorney General's website. There are references to the Property Code, which you can read online. Use that information to file suit at your local JP office.
