Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Texas
car hit apartment unit
Back in May or 2007 a tenant hit my unit by my bedroom window. I ask the Manager on June ,02 2007 when will they be able to do the repairs. she told me that it would be around the 13 th of june. this is August and nothing has be done yet. There was personal damage done also and the lady's insurance has paid me and the apartment complex too. How long should it tak them to do the repairs and what recourse do I have?

Re: car hit apartment unit
Make a demand in writing for the repairs to be made. Give the landlord a deadline. IF the repairs are not done by that time, contact a lawyer who handles landlord/tenant issues to file suit against the landlord.
