Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Texas
Car got paint on it.
Okay, short and sweet. I leave in a aparment complex. They have painters painting the buildings. And im not sure how but they got paint spots all over my car. I told the owner of the painting company and he said it would come out, I went to the car wash. 2 diff. one's at that a touch free one then a touch one and alot of it came off the paint but none of it came off the convertibale top, and alot is still on the trim work ext. I just wanted to know if there was anything I can do to get them to take care of any expince's or anything I am going to have to fork out to get the paint removed, or repainted over. I personaly think it's as much the apartment people's fault as the painters. They didn't even come to my door and ask me to move my car or anything and I had no idea they where going to be painting that area today or I would of never parked there in the first place. So again I just want to know if there is any legual action I can take to clear this up. As it's a collector's year 1987 mustang GT. Cov. and I am not very happy. Thanks and sorry if I explained a little to much, just a little mad.

Re: Car got paint on it.
You need to get an estimate from a reputable shop, and sue the paint company and the apartment complex. My guess is that between the two of them you can reach a negotiated settlement.
