Does the landlord have to replace the carpet in a house after every tenant leaves? Or is the tenant responsible for new carpet?

Re: carpet in a rented house
Replacement of carpet in a house after every tenant vacates is something that the landlord might do to further ensure that the landlord is keeping the property rented. On the other hand and depending on the rental agreement, the tenant could be responsible for new carpet. It ultimately would be determined based on the language used in the agreeement.
