Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Texas

Can I be evicted after I move out ? (And have an eviction on my rental record)

If my landlord has filed eviction on me, but given the amount we owe them, we rather just move-out and set up payments, can they still go to court and legally evict me. Or can I show up to court and show up that I moved out and have the eviction case dismissed?

Usually, if you contact the landlord and advise that you are moving out, and will be out within a very short period of time, the landlord will skip the eviction process. If he will not negotiate with you, get out, and attend the eviction hearing, and advise the judge of the date you moved out and the condition of the property at move out.
