Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Texas
evictions
How many days does one have to reside in a house after an eviction case has been heard in a court of law? I need 15 days after court before my lease begins at my new residence.
Or what can I do to delay my eviction?

Re: evictions
You have five days after an eviction judgment is signed to either move or appeal. You may file an appeal to the county court for a trial de novo (new trial) Of course, anything is negotiable and you can always try asking the landlord if you can have a few extra days
