Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Texas
didn't get to file an answer.....
I just got a new job and could not file my answer to the court on why I was being sued... What do I do now?I couldn't take off work and no atty would touch small claims court. But I am being evicted and i want to win i did not want to lose my job so what do i do?

Go online -- read the Property Code -- there are rules for evictions -- you may be able to appeal the eviction. Often the order is a good one, and your best bet is to go personally to your landlord and try to negotiate a deal. If you are unable to -- pack quickly and find another place to live.
