Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Texas
grandfathered clauses
The community I live in has recently changed owners. The new owners are changing some rules that are already in effect. Having lived here for 11 years, I have established ''my home''. Shouldn't already approved rules fall within grandfather clauses and how well do these stand up?

Re: grandfathered clauses
As long as the new owners give appropriate notice, there is no reason they cannot change rules. It is their property after all. I know of no law which would prevent them from changing the rules.
