Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Texas
We got behind on our house payments. The mortgage company gave us a total to get it all caught up and we paid that. Now they are saying on our March statement there are some outstanding fees still. But I have it in writing in an email that everything is current and the payment is the only thing due. But the statement and website still has the other charges. What can we do?

You should write a letter to the bank (PAPER letter - no emails or texts or phone calls) and explain to them what you just explained to me. And tell them that their conduct is a violation of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act. And tell them that there are NO outstanding fees.
