landlord evictiion rights
i was recently evicted from my duplex and told the lanlord i would get my stuff out within 2 weeks because i was told i had 30 days legally to get my stuff out.i havent stayed at the duplex due to no utilities on...i return to my house and all of my belongings are gone...everything i own is gone and i need to know if the lanlord has the right to take all of my personal belongings...ie.clothes,pictures,appliances,furniture...etc...

You don't have to get out until after you have gone to your forcible entry and detainer hearing in small claims court. Then the justice of the peace will give you a deadline. If the hearing is over and you didn't show up, you probably received a default judgment, but the J.P. still would have given you a deadline to move.
