Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Texas

my landlord has filed an eviction suite against me, and I am going to fight him in court because I feel that he is being unfair to my family. What are my chances of winning if I have the money to prove that I can pay the rent!

It depends upon the basis of the eviction, and it depends upon the validity of his proof, and your proof. If he is suing you based upon failure to pay rent, and you have paid the rent, and have proof, then he should not prevail.

I don't know what you mean by unfair, but the person that prevails is the person that has sufficient evidence under the terms of the contract (lease).
