Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Texas

Landlord from Hell

Landlord has kept $1,850.00 deposit, has lied about several things. Gave me a copy of the painting receipt without a company heading, the painting she said was $1,800.00. She has lied and took all my deposit. She has been a big bully..is there recource I can take?

Sure - sue her in small claims court. Make her produce a live lying witness to back up her phony receipts. And ask for damages.
