Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Texas
My ex landlord is did not show any kind of estimates before repairing minor thing is the house. She replace some thing that did not need to be replaced. Does the landlord have to show us an estimate before replacing or repairing anything?

If the lease does not require it, no. The cost, however, does have to be reasonable. You are not liable for normal wear and tear, but for damages caused by your negligence.
