Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Texas
laws
My sister has a boyfriend that my father does not approve of cause he does drugs. She has a house about a hundred yards from him on his land. He told him he doesn't want him anywhere on his land and he doesn't listen. Can i take phyiscal action without getting in trouble as long as it's on his land?

Re: laws
This has trouble written all over it. Stay out of it. If your father takes physical action, he may have some rights, depending upon the situation, but he will probably have to be talking through a lawyer. If your sister has a legal right to the residence, whether it is on his property or not, she may have a legal right to whatever visitors she wants. If the boyfriend is considered to be a trespassor, it is a misdemeanor, and doubtful if physical force can be justified. Stay out of it.
