That depends upon the lease agreement, and your landlord. Read the contract, does it give you any period of time, or method, for terminating the lease? You might want to discuss the situation with the landlord, to determine if he will let you off the hook (possibly with a penalty). If so, get the release in writing. Otherwise you signed a contract, probably jointly and severally liable, and are bound by the terms of the contract.
