Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Texas
If I am in a lease on a house with my ex. I am not living at the house anymore but still paying rent. All utilities are in my name and shes is not paying them so I am having to can I turn them off and make her put them in her name? If so would I be responsible to pay her any portion of the newly set up utility bills? Thanks ... In Texas

The response should be addressed in your divorce decree. That decree should have provided for both of your financial responsibilities, including utilities and deposits. If it does not, your alternative is to sit down with her and work it out, or return to court with a Motion for Clarification.
