can my landlord raise my rent $50.00 per month?

Re: a limit on raising rent
Read your lease. If the lease provides for the increase, then it is allowed. Most leases (a primary reason for having a lease) freeze the rental amount during the term of the lease. If your lease has expired, then the landlord can raise the rent.
