Mortgage Contract
Can a Mortgage company change a fixed contract after 8 years and start making you pay into an escrow account?

Maybe. If there is a clause in the contract that justifies or triggers the escrow clause. One party cannot unilaterally change the contract, unless there is a provision that provides for it.
