Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Texas

My Mother rents a room in her home to a man on a weekly basis, He has become verbally abusive and drinks constantly. She has asked him to move but he refuses. I feel that he want to be evicted so he does not have to pay rent during the process. What can she do ?? Please remember that he pays rent by the week and there is no written rental agreement

Evict him. The process is not that slow.
