Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Texas
I moved in with a girl a couple months ago. She gave me 6 days notice before rent was due that she couldn't pay her half and was moving out. I've talked to the apartment manager and she hasn't really offered much help besides finding someone to take over the lease or pay all of the fees ($2600) and sue her afterwards. Is there any other options out there?!

Your "options" have everything to do with (1) the lease contract and (2) what your landlord will agree to.
Ask your landlord if you can move into a smaller apartment (with a reduced rent).
Ultimately, your remedy may be to find another place to live (which will involve breaking the lease).
