can a landlord give u a 3 day notice to get out of a house , ?no eviction noitice from court ,just a paper saying you have 3 days to be out of this home?

Yes, that is the first step in the eviction process. If you don't leave after the time set forth in the notice to vacate, then the landlord must file an eviction suit with the justice of the peace. You will be served the papers which will tell you the court date. The court date will be soon. There is no defense to nonpayment of rent. If the judge rules in landlord's favor, you have five days to either move or to appeal to county court.
