Pragnant facing eviction
My husband was recently layed off from work and was out of work for 3 weeks. He just found anothr job but the issue is now we are behind on bills. On top of this i found out that I am 7 weeks pragnent. we have some money saved to the side and I asked my apartment manager if i could pay them 1/2 now and pay the other 1/2 with the late fees when my husband got payed. they told us that they dont take partcial payments its all has to be payed. well we recieve and eviction notice and its going to be another 2 weeks before my husband gets payed. Can they evict us. even though i am pragnant? and offer the make a parical payment?

Re: Pragnant facing eviction
Yes, they can evict you. There is no defense to nonpayment of rent. You signed a lease promising to pay rent in full the first of every month. The landlord is entitled to enforce its lease.
